Developed to respect and interpret the majestic natural surroundings, a signage strategy established an effective wayfinding experience during the day and night.

The signage was designed to invite the playfulness of shadows and change of perspective as visitors drive past the structures, producing an effect of fluidity and dynamism. A series of monumental, directional and informational signs were positioned at carefully considered points based on factors such as visibility and proximity to the destination or identified location. Materiality for the signs was selected to ensure a cohesiveness with the natural landscape and appropriate durability for the local climate.
To facilitate visitor journey at night, lighting was integrated so that all signs and text would be clearly visible, with reflective tape providing visibility by car lights or hand-held devices. Two lighting modes allowed for both a standard setting for general ease of orientation and a second option of a more dramatic up-lighting setting for night time events or special occasions.
